One day after the Courier Times reported that there was no imminent trade involving Andre Iguodala, Sports Illustrated has it that the Philadelphia 76ers swingman could be moving to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers would be sending Lamar Odom to Philly in exchange, SI reports, but also states that "it's unclear whether the deal has real potential or is still alive." However, such a deal has been discussed between the two teams, Sports Illustrated reports.
Iguodala is under contract for three more seasons and is owed $44 million. Odom only has one more guaranteed year on his contract. He's due $8.9 million. Because of that, SI notes that another Lakers player would have to be in the deal in order to balance out the salaries.
