Buehrle pitches 6 solid innings in White Sox loss

PHOENIX (AP)—Mark Buehrle tossed six strong innings Tuesday but the Chicago White Sox committed three more errors in a 4-1 loss to the Colorado Rockies.

The White Sox have an American League-high 43 errors this spring. Two of the Rockies’ runs were unearned.

Buehrle gave up two runs, one earned, and five hits. He struck out four and walked two.

Jorge De La Rosa struck out nine in 5 1-3 innings for the Rockies, allowing an unearned run and seven hits.

Clint Barmes went 3-for-3 and scored two runs for Colorado. Jeff Baker had two hits and scored twice.
