Player Notes
Rockies activated OF Corey Dickerson from the 15-day disabled list.

Advice: Dickerson had been sidelined since mid-June due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. He'll immediately jump back into the Rockies lineup, hitting sixth against Anthony DeSclafani and the Reds on Friday. Fantasy owners should get him active and into lineups for the weekend series at Coors Field.

Corey Dickerson (foot) is likely to return to the Rockies' active roster this weekend.

Advice: Dickerson is 4-for-11 with an RBI, a walk, and two runs scored in three rehab games spread between High-A Modesto and Triple-A Albuquerque. Most important is that he has felt no discomfort in his left foot, which has been suffering from plantar fasciitis all season. Dickerson has appeared in just 38 games for the Rockies, but he has produced an .843 OPS and five home runs though the lingering foot injury.

Corey Dickerson (foot) will begin a rehab assignment Sunday with High-A Modesto.

Advice: An earlier report said he'd begin it on Monday. Dickerson should be cleared to rejoin the Rockies after just two or three minor league rehab games. The 26-year-old outfielder has produced an .843 OPS with five home runs in 38 games this season despite fighting plantar fasciitis for much of the summer.

Rockies manager Walt Weiss said Friday that he expects Corey Dickerson (foot) to rejoin the Rockies soon.

Advice: Dickerson is expected to begin a brief minor league rehab assignment on Monday, and as long as everything goes well should be able to return to the big league club after a couple of days. Before hitting the shelf, Dickerson was slashing .299/.331/.512 with five homers and 16 RBI in 38 games with the Rockies.
