Advice: Walker got through another bullpen session Friday with no issues, clearing the way for his return to game action. He's only missed about three weeks of action, so Walker might need just the one rehab outing before rejoining the Mariners' rotation.

Advice: Nightengale didn't mention which teams were interested, though he did say there will be scouts on hand for Walker's bullpen session Friday at Wrigley Field. Walker pitched a simulated game on Wednesday and is close to returning from a foot injury. He could be a good fit for the Marlins who are looking to add a controllable starting pitcher. Walker won't hit free agency until 2021.Rotoworld
Advice: Walker tossed a three-inning simulated game on Wednesday. He will have a bullpen session on Friday and (assuming no setbacks) could begin a minor league rehab assignment on Monday. Servais said that once he makes that start, the team will reevaluate to determine whether he is ready to be activated from the disabled list. Right foot tendinitis has plagued him this summer. He hasn't pitched since July 1.

Advice: He'll throw a bullpen session in two days and could then be cleared for a minor league rehab assignment -- possibly as soon as Monday at Triple-A Tacoma. Walker has been on the disabled list since July 5 due to tendinitis in his right foot. He's on track for an early-August activation, assuming no setbacks.

Advice: Mariners manager Scott Servais told reporters that he wants to see Walker "get after it" to really test his right foot. A minor league rehab game could follow if the workout goes smoothly. Walker has been on the disabled list since July 5 with lingering foot tendinitis.

Advice: He should be ready to make a rehab start soon. Walker has battled tendinitis in his right foot for a while now before finally being placed on the DL earlier this month, but it appears he's feeling better. He should return in late July or early August.
