Player Notes
Adam Eaton is not in the White Sox' lineup Friday.

Advice: He's getting a day off with the Royals throwing left-hander Danny Duffy. Austin Jackson is leading off and in center field, while Avisal Garcia is in right and Jerry Sands is in the designated hitter spot.

Adam Eaton went 2-for-5 with a single, double and two RBI in Tuesday's loss to the Astros.

Advice: Eaton swatted an RBI single in the fifth inning before his run-scoring double in the 11th made it a one-run game. The multi-hit game was his seventh in 14 games this month, and he's racked up two RBI in three of his last four games. He's a big reason why the White Sox are where they are in the standings, batting .307/.400/.427 with 14 RBI, 19 runs scored and four steals on the year.
