Player Notes
Brian Dozier went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Yankees.

Advice: Let us pause to appreciate the sheer magnitude of the Twins' power display. All seven of their runs scored via the home run, with Dozier, Danny Santana, Trevor Plouffe, Max Kepler, Eduardo Nunez and Juan Centeno upping their homer totals by the end of the game. Dozier's was the only non-solo shot, as he cranked a two-run dinger off of Yankees starter/pinata Nathan Eovaldi in the sixth inning. After a sluggish start to the season, the versatile second baseman is now hitting .252/.336/.436 with 10 homers, 32 RBI and six steals across 266 at-bats. On the micro level, he has homered in back-to-back games.

Brian Dozier socked a solo homer in a loss to the Yankees on Saturday.

Advice: His second-inning blast off Michael Pineda was the only offense of the day for the Twins. Dozier got off to a miserable start at the plate this season, but he’s batting .337 with 14 extra-base hits (including four homers), 13 RBI, and three steals over 23 games this month. We don’t expect the batting average to last, but he’s safe to use again in standard fantasy leagues.

Brian Dozier went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Phillies.

Advice: Dozier had an RBI single in the first inning before swatting a run-scoring triple, his second triple in three games, in the sixth. In that three-game span, Dozier is now 7-for-13 with those two triples, a homer, three RBI and six runs scored. The stretch has been part of a terrific month of June that has Dozier's overall line up to .244/.335/.407.
