Player Notes
Tommy Joseph singled and doubled in the winning run of Monday's victory over the Marlins.

Advice: Joseph broke a scoreless tie in the eighth inning with an RBI double. He was the only player on both teams to notch a multi-hit game and the first baseman now has multiple hits in three of his last five starts.

Tommy Joseph went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Joseph ripped the solo shot off Marlins starter Jose Urena in the fourth inning, his second in two games and his fifth in his last eight contests. Few have been hotter than the 25-year-old this month, as Joseph is now 14-for-33 (.424) with those five home runs in just 12 July games played. The catcher-turned-first baseman appears to be finding his footing at the major league level and could be securing his spot as the Phillies' first baseman of the future in the process.

Tommy Joseph ripped a solo home run in Monday's loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Joseph's solo blast off of Jose Fernandez in the seventh inning put the Phillies up 2-0 at the time, but the Phils blew the save in the ninth and eventually lost in extra innings. The first baseman has been an all-or-nothing slugger since his promotion, slugging 12 home runs but also striking out 42 times and sporting a .278 on-base percentage over 160 at-bats.
