Player Notes
Charlie Blackmon delivered a walk-off single on Monday against the Giants.

Advice: Blackmon had been 0-for-5 coming into his at-bat in the bottom of the ninth inning. He singled off of Sergio Romo to score Michael McKenry and send the fans (if there are any left) home happy with a 10-9 win. Blackmon struggled in August (.245/.291/.363), but his season numbers are strong (.289/.335/.441) and hopefully this hit can get him fired up for the last month of the year before the Rockies end their lost season.

Charlie Blackmon hit his second home run in as many days Sunday, going 2-for-4 in a loss to the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Blackmon hit a solo home run in the fourth inning, the only damage the Rockies could do against Diamondbacks starter Chase Anderson. He's now got 17 homers in the year, with 64 RBI and 69 runs scored. The All-Star is hitting .289/.335/.441 overall.

Charlie Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Marlins.

Advice: Blackmon has been doing a good job setting the table over the last week, scoring eight runs in his last six games. He went 7-for-13 in the weekend series against the Marlins, bringing his line up to .291/.340/.438. He's not the All-Star he was in the first half, but Blackmon should remain a productive player through the end of the season.
