Player Notes
DJ LeMahieu (wrist) is out of the Rockies' starting lineup Wednesday versus the Brewers.

Advice: LeMahieu was a late scratch Tuesday due to left wrist inflammation and is apparently still dealing with some discomfort. Daniel Descalso will start at second base and bat sixth on Wednesday afternoon against Zach Davies.

DJ LeMahieu went 3-for-3 with a triple, a two-run home run and three runs scored as the Rockies topped the Nationals 6-2 on Tuesday.

Advice: No one this side of the equator (sorry, that disqualifies you, Michael Phelps) is as hot as LeMahieu these days. The 28-year-old is now hitting .548 (17-for-31) with two home runs, five RBI and eight runs scored during an eight-game hitting streak, running his overall line to .342/.415/.498. LeMahieu is also fourth in the National League with 79 runs scored.

DJ LeMahieu had a 4-for-4 night at the plate Monday against the Nationals.

Advice: Though he lacks the big power stroke, LeMahieu has been awesome at Coors Field this year, hitting .390 with a 24/36 K/BB ratio in 242 plate appearances. On the road, he's at a much more pedestrian, though still respectable, .288 with a 38/16 K/BB ratio in 239 plate appearances. It's just not all about the home run at Coors.
