D.J. LeMahieu left Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks with a bruised left knee.

Advice: He came out in the sixth inning after going 0-for-1 with a pair of walks. LeMaheiu landed awkwardly on his knee after diving for a single by Paul Goldschmidt. He'll have an MRI on Monday. Daniel Descalso replaced LeMahieu at second base and will probably start there during his absence. LeMahieu's .327 average is tied for third-best in the National League.

DJ LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and two runs scored as the Rockies pounded the Diamondbacks 11-6 on Saturday.

Advice: LeMahieu had one of the team's three home runs on the day, his fifth homer of the year. The second baseman has been terrific in his last six games, going 13-for-28 with four RBI and five runs scored. The good stretch is a microcosm of what has been a stellar first half for the 27-year-old, who's batting .328/.392/.500 with 46 runs scored overall.
