Player Notes
Bryce Harper (flu) is in Tuesday's lineup against the Braves.

Advice: Harper left Monday's game with lightheadedness as a result of the flu, but it's not a big deal. He'll bat sixth Tuesday against Aaron Harang as the Nationals attempt to punch their ticket to the postseason.

Bryce Harper is dealing with the flu.

Advice: The flu bug is being passed around the Nationals' clubhouse and apparently caught Harper. It's why he was lightheaded, which forced him from Monday's game. Consider him day-to-day.

Bryce Harper left Monday's game versus the Braves due to lightheadedness.

Advice: It's not clear at this point what brought about the lightheadedness, but the Nationals should provide more on Harper's status after the game. He struck out in his lone at-bat before exiting.

Bryce Harper left Monday's game against the Braves with an apparent injury.

Advice: Harper didn't suffer an obvious injury at any point, but Nate Schierholtz pinch-hit for him in the fourth inning. The Nationals will update the outfielder's status shortly.

Bryce Harper is not in the Nationals' lineup Sunday.

Advice: He's getting a breather versus southpaw Cole Hamels. Scott Hairston, who is batting .391/.440/.826 with five homers over 50 plate appearances in his career against Hamels, is in left field in Harper's place. Wilson Ramos is also sitting out, as Jose Lobaton is catching Gio Gonzalez.
