Rizzo went 3-for-5 with a home run, five runs scored and three RBI on Tuesday against Triple-A Tacoma. The home run was his 15th of the season, and he improved his slash line to .352/.418/.697.
Recommendation: The time would be now for the Cubs to call up Rizzo as more Interleague games approach, and he has nothing left to prove in Triple-A. Cubs manager Dale Sveum told MLB.com, "He's done everything he can down there, but once again, when you bring somebody up like that, he has to play every day. That's the million-dollar question. How do we get that playing time?"
