Dee Gordon left Saturday's game against the Rockies due to irritation in his right hip.

Advice: Gordon had a similar injury earlier this season and missed three games. He was replaced at second base Saturday by Darwin Barney. The Dodgers begin NLDS play next Friday, so Gordon has time to heal.

Dee Gordon departed Saturday's game versus the Rockies with an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Gordon may have tweaked something on a first-inning groundout. Darwin Barney replaced him at second base. This is bad timing for the NL West-champion Dodgers.

Dee Gordon went 3-for-4 with two doubles and two runs scored as the Dodgers beat the Rockies 7-4 on Friday.

Advice: No steals for Gordon, but two doubles is nice; he entered with just 22 in 604 at-bats this season. He was also in an 0-for-14 slump headed into this one.

Dee Gordon is out of the Dodgers' starting lineup on Tuesday night versus the Giants.

Advice: It's only a day of rest. Justin Turner will start at second base base against Madison Bumgarner.
