May 22 Trumbo will see serve as the Angels' regular right fielder until Torii Hunter (personal) returns to the team, the LA Times reports.

Recommendation: Hunter's absence and Vernon Wells' thumb injury leave Mike Trout and Peter Bourjos as the only regular outfielders on the Angels' roster for the time being, so manager Mike Scioscia will take the opportunity to guarantee Trumbo a spot in the lineup each day for the time being. Trumbo will likely return to his super-utility role when Hunter returns, but he should see added time in the outfield in the coming week with Wells out several weeks.

May 18 Trumbo went 4 for 4 on Thursday in a 6-1 loss to the ChiSox.

Advice: Trumbo failed to get an RBI or score a run as the rest of the Angels combined for two hits.
