Player Notes
Mark Trumbo hit a grand slam to lead the Diamondbacks past the Giants 6-2 on Monday.

Advice: He finished 2-for-5 with five RBI, adding an RBI single in the seventh. The big damage came in the third frame, when Trumbo swatted a Ryan Vogelsong offering over the right field wall to plate Wade Miley, Chris Owings and A.J. Pollock. Trumbo has driven in 10 runs over his last five games. A hot finish would give a nice superficial boost to his disappointing slash line (.239/.303/.389).

Mark Trumbo finished 3-for-5 with three RBI as the Diamondbacks beat the Padres 10-4 on Saturday.

Advice: Trumbo smacked a two-run single in the first inning and later scored on a wild pitch. He then plated Chris Owings on a fielder's choice in the second and doubled in the fifth before singling and scoring again in the eighth. Trumbo seems to be finding a groove now after struggling initially in his return from a fractured foot.
