Player Notes
Jarrod Dyson is again starting in center field and batting eighth for the Royals in Sunday's World Series Game 5.

Advice: Kansas City is using the same lineup that they used in Games 3 and 4. Dyson has started all three games in San Francisco, reaching base three times in the first two contests while also making a terrific catch in Game 4. Nori Aoki will again come off the bench.

The Royals will utilize the same lineup they used in Friday's victory over the Giants in Game 4 on Saturday.

Advice: That means that Jarrod Dyson will remain in center field and hit eighth with Lorenzo Cain handling right field defensively and Nori Aoki stowed away on the bench. Ned Yost's moves worked out brilliantly in Game 3 as Cain played a flawless right field and made several plays that Aoki otherwise wouldn't have.

Jarrod Dyson is starting in center field and batting eighth in Friday's World Series Game 3.

Advice: Lorenzo Cain has shifted over to right field, and Nori Aoki is on the bench. With the tough outfield at AT&T Park and flyball pitcher Jeremy Guthrie on the mound, Royals manager Ned Yost has elected to go with his best defensive outfield. Alex Gordon has moved up to the No. 2 spot in the lineup that was vacated by Aoki, while Mike Moustakas has moved up from the No. 9 spot to Gordon's old No. 5 spot.

Royals manager Ned Yost indicated Thursday that Jarrod Dyson could start over Norichika Aoki in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday.

Advice: That would mean putting Dyson in center and shifting Lorenzo Cain over to handle the tough right field at AT&T Park. Aoki would also offer more than Dyson off the bench as a pinch-hitter. Dyson is hitless in seven at-bats this postseason, while Aoki is just 7-for-34 at the dish.
