Player Notes
Domonic Brown (Achilles) said Friday that he feels "outstanding" health wise as he nears his return to the Phillies next week.

Advice: Brown has been on an extended minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Lehigh Valley where he has gone 3-for-24 with three walks and five strikeouts. The Phillies wanted him to get as many at-bats as possible to get his timing back before rejoining the big league club. His last game with the Iron Pigs should be Sunday or Monday.

Domonic Brown (Achilles) is expected to use his full 20-day allotment during his rehab assignment.

Advice: Brown hasn't had issues with his left Achilles, but he's not hitting much so the Phillies plan to leave him at Triple-A Lehigh Valley in hopes that he figures things out. "It's kind of up to him when he finds his stride to get hot with the bat," manager Ryne Sandberg said. "I think that would be important for him." Brown's 20th rehab day is next Tuesday.

Domonic Brown (heel) will continue his minor league rehab assignment Friday with Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Advice: Brown, who began the season on the disabled list with tendinitis in his left Achilles, went 4-for-14 (.286) with a home run over five games with High-A Clearwater. It's unclear how many games he'll play in Triple-A before being activated. The Phillies have been relying on a combination of Jeff Francoeur and Grady Sizemore in right field during his absence.
