Player Notes
Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon expects Logan Morrison (hamstring) to need a rehab assignment before returning.

Advice: It's not clear when the rehab assignment will come. LoMo was placed on the DL nearly a week ago with a strained right hamstring. He figures to be ready by early May.

Mariners placed OF/1B Logan Morrison on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 15, with a right hamstring strain.

Advice: Morrison actually suffered the injury on Monday before he took an at-bat or went to his position. It's not clear at this point how long he might be sidelined. LoMo was off to a .150/.227/.150 start with no homers and no RBI in eight games so far this season.

Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports that Logan Morrison (hamstring) could be headed to the disabled list.

Advice: The Mariners are calling up Nick Franklin, and Divish sees a Morrison DL stint as the most logical corresponding move. LoMo injured his right hamstring in Monday's game and according to Divish had it "heavily bandaged" Tuesday. The 26-year-old is batting just .150/.227/.150 with no homers and no RBI in eight games so far this season.

Logan Morrison (hamstring) is available off the bench for Tuesday night's game against the Rangers.

Advice: LoMo left Monday's game because of tightness in his right hamstring. He does not have a strain and should return to the starting lineup by the end of this week.

Logan Morrison left Monday's game against the Rangers with a tight right hamstring.

Advice: Morrison's turn didn't come up in the top of the first inning, but then he didn't take his position in right field in the bottom of the frame. It's possible he suffered the injury during pre-game drills but didn't alert manager Lloyd McClendon until it was too late. Consider him day-to-day for now.
