Player Notes
Wilson Ramos is not in Tuesday's lineup against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Ramos has started four straight games, so he'll get a breather. Jose Lobaton will start behind the dish.

Wilson Ramos hit his sixth home run of the season, finishing 2-for-4 on the night, as the Nationals beat the D'Backs in 11 innings on Monday.

Advice: In what was originally a pitcher's duel, Ramos hit a two-run home run in the seventh inning off of Vidal Nuno to put the Nationals up 2-1. It very well could have been the deciding factor on another timeline. The catcher has hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games and now sports a .298/.339/.421 line with 32 RBI.

Wilson Ramos hit a ground rule double in the bottom of the ninth to score Bryce Harper and bring home a 4-3 win for the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Ramos' heroics were possible because Adam LaRoche hit a two-run home run to tie the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the eighth. In the bottom of the ninth, Bryce Harper worked a walk from Justin Wilson, moved to second on a wild pitch and scored on Ramos' ground rule double to right. Ramos finished the game 2-for-4. On the season, he's slashing .293/.336/.405 in 56 games. Ramos was dealing with a hamstring issue earlier in the season, and more recently went on the paternity leave list.
