Player Notes
Buster Posey went 1-for-3 and delivered a two-run single as the Giants fell to the Padres in San Diego on Sunday.

Advice: His run-scoring knock off of Clayton Richard came during a three-run rally in the third inning that gave the Giants an early 3-1 lead. Unfortunately, that would be the extent of their offense in the contest. Posey has disappointed relative to expectations this season, slashing .288/.358/.434 with only 13 homers and 73 RBI on the season.

Buster Posey went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBI as the Giants bested the Cardinals 8-2 on Friday.

Advice: Posey hasn't had many outbursts like this one this season, but he's still putting up very solid numbers; he's batting .294 and has 32 doubles to go along with his 13 homers. He's also sporting a 60/57 K/BB ratio. The Giants could use the power surge if it comes, but they can't complain either way.
