RHP Armando Galarraga, whose career has headed south since a lost out on a perfect game in 2010 because of a missed call on first-base umpire Jim Joyce on what would have been the final out, has signed a minor-league deal with the Astros. General manager Jeff Luhnow he expects Galarraga (26-30 career record, 4.69 ERA) to join Class AAA Oklahoma City within about a week. The Oklahoma City staff had an opening after the Astros sold right-hander Henry Sosa to the Korean League.
