Blackburn (thigh) was placed on the 15-day DL on Thursday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Recommendation: Blackburn suffered the thigh injury during his start Wednesday against Detroit. He may have been removed from the rotation even without the injury, as his ghastly 8.37 ERA and 1.77 WHIP have done little to help a horrendous Twins offense.
