RHP Felipe Paulino became just the second Royals pitcher to beat the Yankees more than once in a season since 1995. The other was RHP Kyle Davies in 2010. He threw 6 2/3 innings Monday in Kansas City's 6-0 win in the Bronx.

Paulino earned a victory Monday as the Royals defeated the Yankees, 6-0. He pitched 6.2 innings and allowed six hits and two walks to go along with eight strikeouts.
Recommendation: Paulino hasn't allowed a run in three of his four starts this season, two of which have come against the struggling Yankees' offense. He has been impressive in the strikeout department as he has recorded 29 strikeouts in 25.1 innings pitched.
