Parra pitched well on Friday at Triple-A Nashville and may be recalled to replace Seth McClung in the rotation next week, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel speculates. Recommendation: Friday was easily Parra's best start of the season as he struck out seven and walked two while holding Round Rock to two hits over seven shutout innings. He's been OK, but not great in two of his other three starts at Triple-A. Parra has a significant amount of talent, but until he's consistently locating his pitches while avoiding walks and big innings at the major league level, he's a risky proposition for fantasy owners. |

LHP Manny Parra, making his third start Sunday evening for Class AAA Nashville since being sent down to work on his command, took a big step backward. In 4 2/3 innings against Oklahoma City, Parra allowed five hits, five walks and seven runs (six earned) while throwing 99 pitches, only 57 for strikes. |
