Player Notes
Hunter Pence went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and three RBI in Sunday's win over the Mets.

Advice: Pence came through in stylish fashion on Sunday as the Giants evened their record at 13-13. The 33-year-old outfielder connected for a two-run homer off of Mets starter Noah Syndergaard in the fourth inning, then came through with another (less loud) RBI in the sixth when he notched a run-scoring single. Pence has been killing it through the first month of the season and now holds a .293/.393/.511 triple-slash with five homers and 22 RBI across 92 at-bats.

Hunter Pence plated three runs Saturday in the Giants’ 6-5 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Two of those runs came in the third inning on a single to right field. Pence just missed his second grand slam of the season on an eighth-inning sac fly. The 33-year-old enjoyed an excellent first month, hitting .284 with a team-high 19 RBI. He’s tied for ninth in the NL with 16 walks this season.
