Player Notes
Asdrubal Cabrera was 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored Friday against the Giants.

Advice: Cabrera contributed to the Mets’ huge third inning with a two-run double. We haven’t seen much power from him thus far, as he has just one home run through 21 games, but he has a strong .312/.369/.416 batting line. The 30-year-old has averaged 15 home runs per season since 2012, so it’s just a matter of time before we see some more pop.

Asdrubal Cabrera went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Saturday's win over the Braves.

Advice: The solo homer was an afterthought in the ninth inning of a five-run game, but it surely was a boost to Cabrera's confidence. Not that he needs it -- the shortstop is hitting .322/.375/.441 through 16 games with his new club. He's hit safely in 13 of those 16 games to date.
