Advice: Bailey threw around 26 or 27 pitches, all of them fastballs. It was his second time on the mound this spring as he makes his way back from right flexor tendon surgery. The Reds aren't counting on him to be ready for the start of the season, but Bailey hasn't given up hope. "It's still so far away," said Bailey. "We have over a month. I haven't ruled out anything but I haven't completely kept the door open. We just have to continue with the process. After the first three or four bullpens, we'll have a better idea of where it's at. Right now, it's still so new. It would be like that if you're healthy."

Advice: It's his first session off the mound this spring after last September's surgery to repair his right flexor tendon. "It was kind of really rewarding, it felt really good," Bailey said. Bailey is a bit behind the other Reds' pitchers in camp and is not expected to be ready for Opening Day, but he should rejoin the rotation sometime in April. He missed the final seven weeks of action last season.Rotoworld
Advice: Bailey is a bit behind the other pitchers in camp as he makes his way back from flexor tendon surgery. He hasn't had any setbacks in his rehab and the Reds expect him to throw a bullpen session in the next few days, but Price appears resigned to the possibility that he might have to start the season on the disabled list. "He's well on his way, and we have complete faith he'll be able to go at some point in time fairly early in the season," said Price. "I don't know if it's going to be Opening Day, but I don't imagine we'll be talking about May, either."

Advice: Bailey underwent surgery last September to repair a tear in his flexor tendon. He's progressing well and hasn't had any setbacks, but he's a bit behind the other pitchers in camp. Reds manager Bryan Price sees Opening Day as a question mark right now, but we should know more in the weeks to come.

Advice: The veteran right-hander has been throwing, but has yet to work off of mound as he recovers from surgery to repair a tear in his flexor tendon. While he's a bit behind the other Reds starters in camp, he is expected to be ready in time for the start of the regular season.
