Player Notes
Evan Longoria went 1-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Longoria broke a scoreless tie in the fourth with a solo home run off of Brandon McCarthy, and brought the Rays back within one run with an RBI ground out in the bottom of the sixth, but it wasn't enough. Longoria now has five home runs in September, tying his season-high for any one month. He has 22 on the season along with 90 RBI and a .252/.320/.407 line.

Evan Longoria blasted his 21st home run of the season, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Blue Jays on Saturday in Toronto.

Advice: Longoria's solo shot off R.A. Dickey tied the score at 3-3 to begin the sixth inning, but that wound up being the extent of the Rays offensive output for the afternoon. He also doubled, finishing the afternoon 2-for-4 to raise his season slash to .252/.320/.406 to go along with 87 RBI.
