Player Notes
Evan Longoria went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer, a walk, and his first stolen base of the season Friday against the Athletics.

Advice: Longoria has now hit safely in nine out of his last 10 games, but his batting average has actually gone down from .283 to .282 during that time. He currently has five home runs, which puts him on pace for his worst power season since his injury-plagued season in 2012.

Evan Longoria went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in Friday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: Longoria and the Rays were unable to manage much offense at all, as they were held to eight hits, only two of which went for extra bases. This season, Longoria is hitting .272/.367/.440 with four home runs, 14 RBI and 20 runs scored. The numbers aren't horrible, but they're a far cry from the monster stats the third baseman has posted in the past.
