RHP Manuel Corpas, who was limited by elbow problems to 35 games this year, none after July 20, reached 94 mph with his fastball in the Rockies' instructional league program. While he wasn't sharp with his command, Corpas showed his arm was healthy. He is expected to pitch in winter ball in the Dominican Republic for Escogido and then participate in the Rockies' mini-camp in the Dominican Republic before spring training.
