Player Notes
Adam Jones hit a solo home run, his only hit in five at-bats, in Tuesday's 12-inning win over the Angels.

Advice: Jones tied the game up at 1-1 when he took Jered Weaver deep in the first inning. It's the 20th blast of the season for the 28-year-old outfielder, who now has four consecutive seasons with at least 20 homers. Jones is slashing .292/.319/.491 with 65 RBI and six stolen bases.

Adam Jones doubled twice and scored two runs, including the game-winning run in the 10th inning, as the Orioles beat the Mariners 3-2 on Sunday.

Advice: Jones doubled and scored in the eighth and 10th innings, finishing 2-for-5. He'd had just two doubles all month prior to the game. His 61 runs scored are 10th-most in the American League, and the outfielder is hitting .293/.321/.487 with 19 home runs and 64 RBI overall.

Adam Jones went 2-for-4 with a pair of two-run homers in Monday's 4-2 win against the Angels.

Advice: Jones' first inning shot off Matt Shoemaker plated Nick Markakis and put the Orioles on top 2-0. Five frames later, deja vu, only this time Jones was even more emphatic, pulverizing the ball 443 feet over the left center wall to give Baltimore a 4-2 lead it wouldn't relinquish. Jones has two homers and nine RBI over his last three games. His slash line is up to a healthy .300/.325/.500, and the outfielder is on pace for 31 homers and 104 RBI.

Adam Jones filled up the box score on Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a homer, five RBI and two steals in the Orioles' 8-4 defeat of the A's.

Advice: Jones is the first player since the Pirates' Matt Lawton in 2005 with five RBI and two steals in the same game. Obviously, it helped a bunch that leadoff man Nick Markakis had four hits and No. 2 hitter Steve Pearce had three hits and a walk ahead of Jones in the third spot, but Jones got the steals on his own. It was the third two-steal game of his career.
