Player Notes
Chris Young doubled and stole home in Saturday's win over the Orioles.

Advice: Young swiped home as part of a double-steal, with Antoan Richardson taking second base on the same play. The run ended up being the difference in the ballgame. After being picked up off the scrap heap last month, Young is batting .400 (10-for-25) with three home runs, four doubles, and RBI over nine games. He's worth a try in deeper mixed leagues again.

Chris Young stayed hot Friday, doubling and smacking a solo homer in a loss to the Orioles.

Advice: One day after slugging a walk-off, three-run jack, Young went deep in the top of the 11th inning with what was the only run of the game at the time. Unfortunately for the Yankees, the O's delivered a two-run double in the bottom of the frame. Young has been red-hot since a promotion earlier this month, batting .471/.471/1.176 with three homers and eight RBI over seven games. He could go ice-cold at any moment but is worth using in fantasy leagues for now.

Chris Young was everything to the Yankees on Thursday, breaking up Alex Cobb's no-hit bid in the eighth inning, then hitting a walk-off three-run home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth against the Rays.

Advice: Young finished 2-for-4 on the night. Alex Cobb was cutting through the Yankees' lineup until Young laced a double to right-center, chasing the right-hander from the game. It still looked like an easy Rays win until the Yankees put the tying run on base. Young has quickly endeared himself to Yankees fans since joining the club in late August, having homered in consecutive games now. On the season, he has 10 home runs, 35 RBI, and a .218/.292/.383 slash line.

Chris Young went 3-for-4 with an RBI double and a solo home run in Wednesday's win against the Rays.

Advice: Young's fourth-inning home run off of Jake Odorizzi brought the Yankees into a 4-4 tie. He would add an RBI double in the eighth to extend the Yankees' lead to 8-4. It is certainly a game the outfielder needed after hitting his way off of the Mets earlier this season. He now has nine home runs, 32 RBI, and a .214/.289/.366 slash line.
