Player Notes
Rays placed 1B James Loney on the 15-day disabled list with a broken left middle finger.

Advice: It was initially called a sprain, but further testing revealed the fracture. Loney expects to miss 4-6 weeks, and Tampa Bay will use a mix of players at first base. Logan Forsythe is starting there Monday night.

Advice: He'll be re-evaluated on Monday before determining his status moving forward. He was one of three Rays offensive starters who suffered injuries in Sunday's defeat.
