Player Notes
Ricky Nolasco was on point in Tuesday's win over the A's, surrendering just one run (none earned) on five hits over eight innings.

Advice: Nolasco struck out four and walked two on the evening. The only run to score on his watch came when Ryon Healy picked up an RBI double in the sixth inning. The veteran right-hander has finished out the season nicely, with Tuesday's run the first he has surrendered in his last three outings. For the season as a whole, he pitched to a 4.42 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 144/44 K/BB ratio over 197 2/3 innings (32 starts between the Twins and Angels).

Ricky Nolasco was fantastic in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Astros, firing seven innings of shutout ball.

Advice: Nolasco has not allowed a run in either of his past two starts, a span of 13 innings. On Thursday, he struck out five, walked one and scattered five hits over seven frames. The veteran right-hander finished out having thrown 97 pitches (61 strikes). Even with his recent shutout ways, Nolasco still holds an unappealing 4.60 ERA. His final start of the 2016 campaign will come at home against the A's.

Thu, Sep 22 Rotoworld
Ricky Nolasco turned in six shutout frames to lead the Angels to a 6-1 victory over the Blue Jays on Saturday.

Advice: He rang up seven strikeouts while walking two and allowing five base hits. The nice outing improves his unsightly record to 6-14 with a 4.78 ERA. He has accumulated an uninspiring 135 punchouts in 182 2/3 innings. The 33-year-old veteran is nothing more than an innings-eater on a bad team and is not a recommended option for the fantasy playoffs despite pitching well tonight.
