RHP Craig Hansen was outrighted to Indianapolis but agreed to a minor league contract with the Pirates following a season in which he did not pitch after April 19 because of a rare nerve condition in his neck. Hansen, 25, was 0-0 with a 5.68 ERA in five relief appearances.
