Tejeda was released by the Indians on Wednesday, the team's official Twitter page reports.
Recommendation: The 30-year-old appeared in nine games for the Royals last year, and allowed five runs over 7.1 innings of relief. Tejeda only threw one inning at Triple-A Columbus this year, and allowed two runs on three hits. It's uncertain whether another team will be interested in his services.
