Player Notes
Nate McLouth went 0-for-3 at the plate in Thursday's loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: McLouth is handling center field while Denard Span (concussion) is out, but he's not taking advantage of the opportunity. He has just one hit in 14 at-bats since taking over for Span and is now hitting an ugly .087/.250/.130 with no RBI on the season.

Nate McLouth (knee) will start in center field and bat seventh Tuesday against the Marlins.

Advice: McLouth has missed the last two games with left knee soreness, but he's feeling a lot better. He should see significant playing time until Denard Span (concussion) is ready to return.

Nate McLouth (knee) is available off the bench Monday.

Advice: McLouth was scratched from Sunday's lineup due to left knee soreness and Nationals manager Matt Williams would like to stay away from using him on Monday if possible. Consider him day-to-day for now.
