Player Notes
FOX Sports' Jon Morosi reports that the Nationals are interested in the Diamondbacks' middle infield depth.

Advice: He doesn't say which player(s) specifically they might be targeting, but Aaron Hill, Chris Owings, Nick Ahmed and Cliff Pennington are the options. Hill would probably make the most sense, as the D'Backs have been trying to trade him for a while. The 33-year-old hasn't been very good this season, hitting .236/.301/.338 with three homers.
