Player Notes
Curtis Granderson went 3-for-5 with two RBI and two runs scored as the Mets easily handled the Nationals on Monday.

Advice: Granderson knocked in the final two of the Mets' 12 runs with a seventh-inning single. The outfielder has been on a tear at the plate, batting .320 (24-for-75) in his last 18 games. He's turned in a productive year, posting a .258/.351/.445 triple-slash line along with 17 home runs and 40 RBI.

Mon, Aug 3 Rotoworld
Curtis Granderson blasted his 17th home run of the season as the Mets completed their three-game sweep of the Nationals on Sunday.

Advice: Granderson's two-run blast off Jordan Zimmermann got the Mets on the board in the third inning. He would immediately be followed by a solo shot from teammate Daniel Murphy, a single from Yoenis Cespedes and a two-run bomb off the bat of Lucas Duda to provide the extent of the Mets offense. Granderson has quietly had a very strong season atop the Mets lineup, slashing .254/.347/.443 with 17 long balls and 38 RBI.

Sun, Aug 2 Rotoworld
Curtis Granderson went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run and two runs scored in Thursday afternoon's loss to the Padres.

Advice: Granderson's three-run tater off of Padres starter Andrew Cashner in the fifth inning pushed the Met advantage to 4-0. They would ultimately lose 8-7 after blowing a six-run lead. The homer was Granderson's 16th of the season. He also contributed a double in the contest. While he's hitting a somewhat pedestrian .255/.350/.440, he's on track to finish with 20+ home runs for the eighth time in his career.

Thu, Jul 30 Rotoworld
Curtis Granderson had a two-run home run and a single in a 2-for-4 effort as the Mets shut out the Padres 4-0 on Tuesday.

Advice: Granderson added insurance when he took reliever Shawn Kelly yard in the eighth inning, doubling the Mets' lead. Though his bat has cooled off a bit in July, the outfielder has turned in a solid year despite carrying a .682 OPS through the end of April. Granderson is batting .253/.346/.431 with 15 home runs and 33 RBI to date.
