LF Jason Kubel came close to an inside-the-park home run in the fourth inning after his line drive off the base of the right field wall kicked sharply back down the right field line in foul territory. The ball rolled 100 feet or so before Dodgers RF Bobby Abreu tracked it down, preventing Kubel from going home. He had already rounded third before being held by third base coach Matt Williams.

Kubel had two hits Tuesday in a 5-1 win over the Dodgers.
