Advice: Mets fans were happy just to see him on the field after missing most of the last two seasons with spinal injuries. He is unlikely to play the field until mid-March. He was replaced by Michael Conforto in the sixth inning.Sat, Feb 25 Rotoworld
Advice: Wright won't be ready to play the field until mid-March, so he's limited to DH duties until then. He has been playing catch regularly as he's working to come back from neck surgery while also battling spinal stenosis in his back. The odds of him remaining healthy throughout the 2017 season remain slim.

Advice: Wright, who is coming back from neck surgery and battling spinal stenosis in his back, played catch Tuesday for the second time this spring. He's going to be eased into action as a DH and in minor league games before testing himself in the field. "He is making strides," said Collins. "You are looking at, three weeks from today we will have a real good idea where he is at. That gives him a lot of time to lengthen himself out." It's ultimately hard to say if he'll be ready for Opening Day until he really starts ramping things up.

Advice: The veteran third baseman is being kept away from the media as he tries to return from last June's cervical discectomy and fusion surgery. "We don’t want him overexposed to where ... if he makes a bad throw, all of a sudden, it’s a big story," manager Terry Collins said. "We want to make sure that when he starts out there throwing in front of everybody, that he’s certainly ready to let it loose." Wright is aiming to be ready for Opening Day, but the question marks abound.

Advice: He didn't play catch outside with the rest of his Mets teammates, but it was the first time Wright has done any throwing since last June's cervical discectomy and fusion surgery. The club will continue to bring the veteran third baseman along slowly this spring, as Wright's participation in Grapefruit League games figures to be fairly limited. He's obviously a major health question mark going into 2017.

Advice: It would be his first time throwing a baseball since last June. The Mets are bringing Wright along slowly this spring as he works his way back from a cervical discectomy and fusion surgery. His health status figures to be a daily topic of conversation throughout spring training.Rotoworld
