Pitching at full strength after being weakened over the last week due to an illness, Adams came into the eighth inning with two runners on, nobody out, and slammed the door shut on the Mariners, the Rangers' official site reports.
Recommendation: Adams left no doubt that he's back in top form, striking out two of the three batters he faced. "I feel it's better, a lot better than the last week and a half," Adams said. "I didn't see that as a problem tonight. I'm glad it's behind me."
