Player Notes
Dioner Navarro went 1-for-4 with a double and three RBI in a losing effort against the Tigers on Friday.

Advice: The Blue Jays had been no-hit through 7 1/3 innings in the contest before erupting for six runs in the eighth inning. Sadly, it was still not enough for the Jays to overcome the poor pitching from Drew Hutchison. Navarro is now hitting .235/.290/.358 with 11 RBI on the season.

CBS Sports' Jon Heyman reports that Dioner Navarro "renewed his interest in a trade this week."

Advice: Navarro requested a trade over the winter after the Blue Jays signed Russell Martin and he apparently still desires to be somewhere where he could catch more. He's been the Jays' backup catcher and occasional designated hitter but would probably represent an upgrade as a starting catcher for a handful of clubs.
