Advice: Gomes has lost playing time due to a sluggish start and Boston's plethora of corner players. Although he's batting just .194 with two homers, and has only one multi-hit game since Opening Day, Gomes has still posted a solid .346 OBP, nine points better than his career mark. Gomes' slugging percentage is more than 100 points beneath his career average, but the lefty-masher could heat up with the weather as long as he isn't asked to start against righties.
