May 23 Gomes was 0-for-3 Tuesday night in a 5-0 lose to the Angels.

Recommendation: Gomes has been recieving more playing time than expected with the injuries to Yoenis Cepedes and Coco Crisp. Gomes has not taken advantage of his time, in the last 15 days he is hitting .189 with four runs and three RBI. With Crisp back now, Cespedes hopefully coming back this weekend and Manny Ramiriez eligible to play on May 30th Gomes's at bats are sure to go down.
