Player Notes
Jose Reyes (suspension) completed a physical Thursday at the Rockies' spring training complex.

Advice: And then he immediately went out to a diamond to take batting practice and field groundballs. Reyes is eligible to begin playing in minor league games June 1 and should be ready for activation from his domestic violence suspension two weeks later. There's not an obvious job available to the veteran shortstop with Trevor Story still holding excellent overall numbers. It's a tricky situation for fantasy owners.

Jose Reyes (suspension) will report to the Rockies' spring training facility in Arizona on Thursday.

Advice: Reyes will not be eligible to play until after May 31. He is serving out a suspension levied against him for an alleged domestic violence incident from last autumn. He will address the media on Thursday. Even after his suspension is lifted, the veteran shortstop will almost certainly begin his 2016 season in the minors. And even after he comes back in full, playing time might be hard to come by with Trevor Story locked in at shortstop. Fantasy owners should continue to monitor the situation, but there aren't obvious at-bats for him with the Rockies and he might not have any real fantasy value unless a trade is consummated.
