May 14 LF Hideki Matsui hit his fifth home run of the season against Troy Percival. He leads the Yankees in batting with a .319 average. Yahoo! Sports


May 14 Matsui hit a game-tying solo homer in the ninth inning Tuesday against the Rays, but the Yankees went on to lose 2-1 in 11.

Advice: Matsui' homer was his first since April 15, a stretch of 57 at-bats. He's just 2-for-16 (.125) in his last four games after batting .365 (23-for-63) during a 17-game hitting streak.
