Player Notes
Coco Crisp (hamstring) remained out of the Athletics' lineup Monday.

Advice: The A's thought Crisp would need just one day of rest for his hamstring issue, but he's apparently not feeling good enough to give it a go. Craig Gentry will receive another start in center field.

Coco Crisp (hamstring) is not in the Athletics' lineup Monday.

Advice: It's just a minor issue, but the A's are being proactive. Crisp will take batting practice prior to Monday's game and should be ready to go Tuesday. Oakland is going with Craig Gentry in center field on Monday against Hector Santiago and the Angels.

Coco Crisp went 2-for-4 with a stolen base against the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: Crisp had two singles on the afternoon, and he's batting .304 through the team's first 12 games. He's also stolen three bases without being caught after stealing 21 last season.

Mon, Apr 14 Rotoworld
Coco Crisp is dealing with a minor hamstring issue and will receive Monday off as a precautionary measure.

Advice: Athletics manager Bob Melvin had planned on resting Crisp against a left-hander on Monday anyways, so it doesn't appear to be a huge deal. Look for him to return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Advice: Crisp was able to make a pinch-hitting appearance on Friday and had no lingering discomfort in his left wrist the morning after. He is batting leadoff and starting in center field against the Mariners' Erasmo Ramirez.

Advice: Crisp received a cortisone shot on Monday due to inflammation in his left wrist and is evidently still not feeling well enough to return to action. It's not clear whether he'll be ready to rejoin the lineup sometime over the weekend.
