LHP Bobby Seay faced six batters Monday and five of them reached base. Seay relieved RHP Justin Verlander with two out in the second and gave up an RBI single before getting the third out. He gave up two singles, a walk and another single before being relieved with nobody out in the third. His breaking ball wasnt breaking much and his fastball caught too much of the plate. It was one of the few times this season Seay has been ineffective.
