1B Nick Johnson continued his hot hitting by belting a pair of home runs in the loss. Johnson is hitting .364 (8-for-22) in his last 10 games after a very slow start. But he struck out to end an eighth-inning threat as the Orioles tried to rally.

Johnson busted out with a two-homer, three-RBI game Wednesday against the Red Sox. He also drew a walk.
Recommendation: Don't look now, but Johnson is now hitting .351 (13-for-37) with four homers in the month of May. His 0-for-April is still depressing his batting average, but Johnson seems to be coming around and could be a decent source of power in deeper leagues.
