CF Rick Ankiel hit a solo shot off Phillies RHP Roy Halladay, his third homer this season. Even though the veteran is batting just .231, he's giving the Nationals some real help with his strong defense in center.

Ankiel is back in the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies, Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post reports.
Recommendation: Ankiel starts most games in center field for the Nationals, but Bryce Harper is seeing action there on days Ankiel sits. Ankiel's defensive prowess will earn him a spot in the lineup most days, but if Harper can handle center field, the Nationals may opt to use a better offensive player in one of the corners with Ankiel owning just a .666 OPS. As such, Ankiel will have to up his production at the plate to be of use to fantasy owners and remain a fixture in the lineup.
